    History

The abbreviation HB suggests Hebei; the company is in Hangzhou, in Zhejiang, and its Chinese name is 爱趣焙. What the two letters stand for is explained nowhere: a forum sees in them the initials of two founding brothers, which is worth what a forum is worth. Founded in 2008, it claims more than twenty patents, export to more than thirty countries, and an SCA Best New Product 2020 prize for the HB-M2S that the official list consulted does not confirm.

A reading trap deserves a note: model names do not tell the capacity. Resellers give the HB-M2S at 200 g in electric and 600 g in gas, far from the two kilos one would read into “M2.”

    What it makes

Gas and electric drums, HB series for the shop and PEAK series for industry. The heating principle is not documented by the manufacturer.

    What you gain

Nothing can be written honestly as long as the manufacturer publishes neither its heating principle nor its capacities: the profile exists to place the company, not to judge it.

    What you lose

Same remark. What we know: a distribution that goes largely through Alibaba and Made-in-China, in addition to a brand website.
