    History

First listed as Chinese, Besca is Turkish: Izmir, Çiğli industrial zone, a small team that builds by hand according to Daily Coffee News, which ran a headline in January 2019 on the opening of a US base in Michigan. No founding year appears on the official site.

Izmir is, outside Northern Europe, the world hub of this trade: Toper since 1953, Özturk since 1944, Has Garanti, Besca. A gray area remains: machines sold under the Besca name appear in the Chinese storefront of the Kaweher group, the export entity of Kaleido, without it being known whether this is a license, a distribution or a misuse of the name. This is probably the origin of the confusion about nationality.

Manufacture of conventional drums in the densest industrial basin of the sector, at a Turkish price.

    What you lose

The heating principle is not specified in the sources consulted, and the presence of the name in a Chinese storefront blurs the identity of what one is buying.
