Today
Agricultural Research Council (ARC-ITSC), Coffee Information page, undated: about 200 ha of coffee, production of 3,500 bags of 60 kg (or about 210 t, calculated from this page), regions of Hazyview and Barberton (Mpumalanga), Bushbuck Ridge (Limpopo), East London and the KwaZulu-Natal coasts. The page also gives 2 t per hectare, inconsistent with 210 t over 200 ha. A research abstract mentions a peak of 3,000 t a year between 1970 and 1994 under price support, not verified. Guest observer of the ICO (sessions of 2007 and 2022), not a member; absent from FAOSTAT.
